Yeah Johnnie

NO MORE OXYGEN for Little Miss Johnnie. All the tests came back normal so no more machines for miss Johnnie. Eveyone is very happy. Thanks for the prayers.

Sweet Little Girls

Johnnie and Kari came to visit tonight on there way to Sioux Falls to stay over night at the hospital. Johnnie is having some tests done tonight to test the oxygen for 12 hours to see how she does and if all goes well she will be oxygen free. YEAH!!!!!!! We all can't wait but especially Kari and Johnnie. It will be great to be done with all that stuff. So Johnnie came to visit for the first time and she slept the whole time. We eventually just had to hold her and take pictures and she never hardly even moved. She was a tired little girl I guess. Sure was nice spending time with her and Kari. Please pray that all goes well for the tonight and "no more oxygen". Please God we pray that all goes well. Sleep tight and God Bless you.

Got to LOVE it

Our fireplace mantel was installed today. We love it. Yes, it needs to be decorated but wanted to share it with you all. First thing Maddi said " Looks nice but it will look better once it is decorated. Have to do that on my days off Thursday and Friday.

Off to Atlanta

I am off to Atlanta Thursday for work a leadership conference now that I am hygiene leader. A few co workers and I will be heading out tomorrow. I am sort of dreading being a way from my family. I like to kiss my girls and husband before I go to sleep each night, something I enjoy and live for. We will be home Sunday late afternoon. Jay will enjoy a couple quiet days at home and with friends and maybe fishing. The girls will spend a couple days at Nana's to make the time go faster. Hope you all have a great and blessed weekend. Time spent with family

Another weekend here and gone. It was a very fall feeling weekend in MN. Cold and rainy but we made the best of it. We all got together at my mom's camper on Saturday. We had some nice time sitting in side and talking and watching the girls interact. Before we know Miss Johnnie will be running around also, that is how fast time goes. Johnnie is doing so great so what a blessing this all was. We ended up going out for supper and having a nice time. And the best part was we got to spend the night and all wake up together and see each other this morning.

Thursday I have to leave for Atlanta until Sunday for work, it is going to be very hard for me as this will be the first time that I will be this far away from my girls and husband, brings tears to my eyes thinking about it. Hope I learn a lot and it goes fast and will be a distant memory before we know it.

Weekend with Family

First Day of Preschool

First day of Preschool today. I talked with Maddi after school and she said she had an awesome day so that was really good to hear, she was so ready to go back to school. She just loves to learn. Little Macie said she was going to pre..school also today but she will have to wait until next year. They are getting so big, no fair. I had to leave this morning before Maddi got up so Dad did her hair, not bad dad.

Another weekend gone by

We had a great but fast weekend. Saturday my aunt Jenny and her family came to visit and spent the night. We had plans to have a camp fire in the backyard and enjoy a summer evening as they are numbered in MN. But the weather did not cooperate with us so we enjoyed each others company indoors. We had a great time and good homemade pizza. The kids had a blast having a slumber party. Thanks guys for taking time out and coming to stay!!!!!

Johnnie is doing great and getting stronger every day. She will go back to Sioux Falls the week of the 22nd and get re evaluated and see if the oxygen can go bye bye. We are waiting for those days. I am not sure which day it is that her appointment is on but I will keep you posted.


Maddi starts preschool tomorrow, first day of school and we are all ready. It is always hard thinking about how big they are now and just off she goes. Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8-11. She is so ready that I am trying to not be a little sad.

Well, the weekend has been crazy and nice all at the same time. We got to see Johnnie on Friday night. She is doing great. Saturday we went to my mom's camper and spent the day at her camper that was fun. Sunday we worked around the house and built shelves in the basement and garage and organized the house. Needed it!!! Really appreciating today is Monday and being home. Will enjoy the short week.

Johnnie continues to do well so we are really blessed. She is just so precious. I wish I could see her everyday. Enjoy the pictures and enjoy the day off.

Sure watching the weather closely with that hurricane, those poor people. My brother in law Ryan lives in Houston, sounds like lots of rain for them and little wind. He is keeping me posted.
