Madelyn's Big Accomplishment

Happy Days in the Murphy House tonight Maddi learned to ride her bike without training wheels, she worked on it at the end of the summer last year and her and dad worked on it tonight and she got it down. She is so proud of herself. She said but mom "what if I fall down"? I said that is all part of the learn process you pick yourself up and try again. Good advise that we forget about. I think our mom's thought us that. Anyways, my baby is growing up. We are proud of her.

My Master Piece

Well, here is my first Mock Angel Food cake and I decorated it. For those of you who REALLY know me know that I have this great passion for COOKING. I don't have a lot of time to spend on it as I would like but every once in a while I can sqeeze sometime in to make something special for my family. Well, 6 am this morning I was in the kitchen making a cake before Church. I am not much of a decorator but I did manage to make this 4 leaf clover look like something. With a little more practice I just might be able to make a few of these around birthday times. I was really blessed this morning also because the cake actually tastes good!!! Move over RACHEL RAY! No but I was pretty excited and danced around the house.

Circus Time

Hi! Well crazy weekend around here. Friday in MN was another cold and snowy day. Snow...... I am not sure what is going on this year but Winter will not go away. Next subject..... So Saturday we headed to Sioux Falls as a family and went to the Shine Circus, first time. The girls just loved it and so did I. My mom (Nana) and Darryl (Bapa) suprised the girls and came to spend the day together. We had a wonderful time. Everyone loved the Elephants so much that they rode one with Bapa sure am glad that Bapa was the winner on that one. Not my style. So we also went to Red Lobster for a early celebration on Jay's birthday, starting the birthday week. We were able to get some shopping it also.... Bless Jay's sole.... we left at 7 am and pulled in the driveway at 8:30 pm. He even came home with us so that was good. We sure did enjoy our weekend. Can't believe that Monday is right around the corner again.....

Fun time with Grandparents

Grandpa Jerry and Donna came over last night for supper and fun. We enjoyed good food and the girls enjoyed playing with they after supper. They stayed very busy and I think everyone was tired at the end of the night. I think the pictures tell all.

Did you say Spring??????

Well, as the look of the pictures you guessed it in another snow storm. Not sure if we are having Spring or Winter. Can't make it's mind up. Trying to stay positive and look at the bright side, well white side. I am getting somethings done in the house so that is good. I have sometime off which is well deserved. I am off until Monday so that is great. Wanted to share the storm. Better get back to decorating, Jay is hanging the new blind in the bathroom and then I can put up my new pictures and the bathroom will be done and off to decorate the kitchen.

Please Pray for the Smith Family

I am posting this again for anyone that reads this blog site. You HAVE to go to http://audreycaroline.blogspot.com , there is a christan band names Selah and the lead singer and his wife had a baby girl born and only lived for 2 1/4 hours. It is an incredible story and there strong faith with God is amazing. They need all the prayers they can get right now. She was born on Monday. They took her early through c-section. It is truly situations like this that shape our lives, without these situations we would take so much for granted. God is truly AMAZING and you can see his love for us through the Smith Family. Even though he took Audrey home to be in Heaven he gave them many blessings also. I have been following this story and it is truly amazing. It really makes you look at your life and strive to be better.

God is AWESOME.

Update on the Murphy house

So life at the Murphy house has been very crazy. I have been working 5 days a week and am not trying to complain about it but it is a lot for the family, especially the girls and Jay. I am trying to enjoy the days that I work and look at it in a positive way that we could be short work verse so busy. So I will enjoy it and also enjoy some time off. This week I only work Monday and Tuesday and get some days off. I will return next week to a 5 day week. The office is off on a vacation and I opted to stay home with my family. It is a reward trip for having such a good year last year.

We had a wedding in Fairmont Saturday so that was fun seeing friends and hanging out for a while. So a very fast weekend.

Last weekend we were very busy. We had a guy come in and texture our kitchen and bathroom and then we painted both rooms. Looks great and am very excited to decorate now. I am waiting for my order to come from At Home America and then I can decorate it. Right now trying to enjoy the fresh paint.

The girls are doing great. Big news around here tonight and is Maddi is going to start a 6 week gymnastic class on Monday nights in Worthington. She begged me to let her do it. So she will really enjoy learning some new tricks. It is so exciting to see her learn so much and grow up. Macie is talking in sentences more and more everyday. She is just so darn cute right now I can squeeze her all day long. Her personality cracks me up. We are working on potty training and I am trying to not get frustrated. I know it will happen when she is ready. She knows exactly what is going on she is very smart, just does not care to do it right now.

I think that is a good update. We are looking forward for the weather to get nice so we can enjoy being outside more. Hope everyone reading this has a good week. And may God Bless you.

"Rejoice in the Lord always, again I will say rejoice"

Anyone reading this I am asking you to pray for and visit this blog, there is a family out there tomorrow that will be faced with a very very tough day visit http://audreycaroline.blogspot.com a story I heard about on the radio and have been folllowing. Thank God every day for what he has given us and for the family I have, because you never know what tomorrow will bring and it it important to have peace with that. Ulimately we are not in control, HE is.
