California here we come

California here we come............ Grandma Beckie made the girls calendars for the count down for our trip for the month of June. 4 days to go and we will be on our way to California. We are very excited, it will be hard to make it to Thursday. We are going from Thursday July 3 to Thursday July 10th. It is going to be an awesome time and we will have some awesome memories. I feel so blessed to be able to be going. Macie can't wait to go to "fornia and see the elephants." We are planning to go to the San Diego Zoo on the 4th and we will also be going to Sea World, the ocean and just hanging out..... Next time I post will be California pictures. God Bless you! I am asking for prayers on a safe and wonderful trip and that the girls do great. I think they will and Jay is scared.

Camping with Nana and Bapa

The girls went and stayed with my mom and Darryl over night at their camper Friday. They had a blast and I wanted to share with you all the video of water balloons and some pictures. Enjoy!

Weekend of Fun

Well, Sunday already. We have a had a great weekend. I was lucky enough to have 4 days off this weekend. I don't take those granited anymore, there was a time I did. So we got a lot done around here, I had some doors I needed to paint that were really begging me and I got those done! Yes!! I started working Friday at 5 am and stopped at 11pm. So much done. We have a trip coming up very fast to California 11 days I think we counted this morning. So I need to be getting organized, I actually got a few things in a suitcase so I am started. I have my mind organized so that is all that counts.

So the weather has been beauitful this last week and those of you that have been following the blog know that us Minnesotains have put our time in so we deserve a good week. So yesterday we headed of to the lake with Jay's dad and went boating/fishing/swimming. It was wonderful. God really blessed us on a beautiful day and we just relaxed and had fun.

From the pictures you can see that we got a new fire pit area in our back yard this week. We have wanted one for SO LONG. This can now be our weekend camping. It is a nice area to hang out as a family and just relax and that is what we were looking for. So this fire pit area is ours now. We need to do some landscape around it and it will look a lot better so that will come. You see now we can have a fire, roast marshmellows, relax and most of all laugh and have fun. When the kids are tired we will bring them to bed and go sit by the fire and when we are tired we will walk to bed. No packing up and unpacking at the end of the weekend. I needed SIMPLE in my life right now and this is it. I do so much traveling and running during the week that we needed something that gives us time together something we can all enjoy young or old. This is our Mother's Day, Father's Day, Anniversary and anything else you can think of present. And we love it. We broke it in last night, we sat out there and Jay's dad and girl friend and some neighbors came over and it was awesome. We are so blessed. The night was perfect no bugs even (we treated the grass in the morning but it worked)

Happy Father's Day

Well, Sunday night again, can't believe it. Thought I would sit down quick and add some pictures from the day. We had a great day and weekend. We worked hard and did some playing which is nice when you can do both. I love working hard and playing. Yesterday, we got together with friends and kids and grilled, it was a great time. We had about 15 of us and it was so nice to take the time to just sit and talk and catch up. Today I had Jay's family over for a brunch and some outside time, it was a great hit and everything went well. Salute to Father's Day. It was a special day, I loved making them all a great breakfest and it was a great hit. Then we got to take a long nap, love that on a Sunday before a long week. Hope everyone had a great day with your dad's and daddy's. God Bless your week. Sure is a great day to reflect and be thankful for all the people we do have it our lives and how blessed we are to have dad's and husbands.

Fun with the Pool

The girls were able to get out in the pool today, they enjoyed it and I think the video shows that well. They are really enjoying the warm weather when it shows it's face. Big weekend around here this weekend. Macie is doing great at going potty on the potty chair and is now sleeping in a big girl bed. She is growing before our eyes and it makes me a little sad but she is loving it. Maddi is going to Vacation Bible school this week from 4-8 p.m. so she is loving it her first night was tonight she was so excited. God Bless you all. Love, Angie
