Weekend at the Circus!!

Girls, are you ready to head to the circus. We got up early on Saturday and headed to the circus with my Aunt Jen and her family.
First off we saw the clowns, Macie wanted nothing to do with the clowns.

We saw elephants, ponies, puppies and many more. The girls just loved it.

How is the cotton candy Maddi?? Madelyn got to go two days in a row because on Friday we got to go with her preschool class. I was able to go along, it was exciting. The kids were so excited and it was fun. I did not realize how much energy 5 year olds had going to the circus. I loved it, I felt a little young to be going along as a chaperone. I am not but I can remember going on field trips, times flies. Anyways what a fun weekend we all had together!

Rejoice today is the today that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it and be glad in it.

Off to go hunting for easter eggs, hope the bunny was generous!

Meeting the Easter Bunny.

Easter Bunny came to town today for the kids to meet. First time for Macie seeing the easter bunny. Not real sure about it. Could not get a picture fast enough.

Maddi liked the bunny though!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Tonight we enjoyed coloring easter eggs and I accidently bought a kid that also had paint so you could paint the eggs. What a mess but the kids LOVED it! So I guess it was worth it.
Wow Macie those egss are great.

Good Friday

Well Good Friday today........Romans 10: 9-10

Jesus did not die on the cross for no reason. He did it to take away our sins and be there sacrifical lamb so that we could accept him as our saviour and have eternal life in Heaven.



And we will rejoice on Easter Sunday, the day Jesus rose from the tomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Busy Weekend

Busy weekend around here this weekend. We had Jay's grandpa Kellen funeral on Saturday. So the girls were dressed up in there Easter dresses.
We had dinner Friday night with all of Jay's aunts and grandma from Denver so it was great time to visit and catch up with them. And for them to enjoy seeing the girls.

Then Saturday afternoon we had a snow storm, yes mother nature is all messed up, it is April but she must this it is December. We ended up being in a blizzard warning and got 7.5 inches of snow. A mess that is for sure.

So we did chocolate easter eggs on Saturday night and the girls both enjoyed decorating them.

We are looking forward to the week of Easter coming. And also hopeing for warmer weather here in Minnesota.
