A crazy week

Got to love winter.... here we go again. Macie got a cold Friday night (last Friday night). Sleepless in Adrian again...... Saturday night, Sunday night, Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Thursday night. Maddi got a cold somewhere in there also. I have been getting better 1-3 hours of sleep a night and going to work all day. Starts to wear on a person and then I got the cold also. So either I am up coughing all night or one of the girls are. When they girls get sick the only person they want is mom, Jay has been trying his best to help out but only mom seems to be able to comfort them. Jay has been doing his part by staying home with them during the day. Bless his soul. Hoping for a restful and healthy weekend. The other morning it is like 15 below air temp or something crazy like that. Highs in the 30's this weekend, heat wave in MN, no coats! Only in MN. Love ya.

Playing around

Today we were playing around and thought I would take some pictures. The girls were so smiley today. We are enjoying staying in this weekend and getting somethings done around the house. We are in a windchill warning because of the cold weather so time to snuggle up in the house and drink coffee all weekend.

A Fish Finally Caught

Madelyn Joy finally caught a fish with help from her Dad and Grandpa Jerry. They were determined for her to catch a fish this year and she did it. She was very excited she caught the frist 2 fish, her dad caught 2 and her grandpa 1 and she tells everyone that.

Well, Saturday morning Jay talked me into taking the girls ice fishing for the first time. We had a great time and the girls loved it. Maddi still has not caught a fish but dad did. I think he hogged them all. Maddi is 0 for 3 but I am thinking that dad will get her a fish yet before the season is over with. It was a very nice weekend to be outside highs in the 40's which is unheard of in MN. Very nice weekend to just take time out and spending it as a family doing some fun fishing. Brings me back to my childhood, I loved to fish and still do just don't get the time to do it. My mom and Darryl where able to fish with us also and cousin T-doe (taylor) as we like to call him.
